Funny, we understand that you’re happy to practise spoken English through the ‘Better Spoken English’ club. It seems that you have a few issues that you’d like us to respond about…
Well, as to the difficulties in maintaining your conversation in English, it’s a normal situation for many beginners to experience. When you start speaking in English more and more, those problems will disappear. There’s no need for you to find topics to discuss. Just talk about anything and everything you’ll normally talk about in your native language – only this time talk in English.
Regarding the rules about Pingpong, you might find it a bit easier to lookup Pingpong rules that are set out for children. Keep in mind though, that many sports have technical words. At first this might be difficult but once you learn these words, you would be able to talk about the sport with anyone who loves it.

I like the atmosphere to speak English! Thourgh the yellow ribbon I could find the right person to speak English. Then, we will have many words to say. When I want to speak in English, I struggle to find a topic. The other person usually just waits for me to ask him or her about something. So, our conversation can just last for a few minutes. Sometimes, we can’t help speaking in chinese!
Greg, you told me to find the rules about playing pingpong to talk about it. I searched on the internet, but found them to be too formal for me. I can’t understand the words used in describing the rules. So I find it hard to talk about it with others. I ‘d rather use my ower words to talk about the sport!
